Izumi Kyôka, an important writer of Japanese fantastic narratives,
wrote in 1907 a text entitled "Obakezuki no iware shôshô to shôjosaku".
This can be translated as "About some of the reasons why I say I am
someone who likes ghosts and my first works".
The term obakezuki used by Kyôka is formed in a way similar to the word philosophy, which from philos - friendship - and sophia - wisdom - is etimologicaly a word designed to indicate the friends of wisdom. Obakezuki, formed from obake - ghost, monster - and suki - to be liked - is a term used by Kyôka to indicate those who love ghosts.
Thus,
I ended adopting Obakezuki as my nickname. In the same way, I adopted
the name Obakezuki™ for this project, which wishes to share with other
supernatural fiction and fantastic literature lovers the discoveries
made in that field - because we love ghosts!!!
This blog will be a priori written

neither of English nor of Japanese, I ask the readers to kindly help me
pointing my Grammar mistakes when they occur.
Comments
and e-mails will certainly be very welcomed. In order to avoid spam and
hacking, comments demand the use of an OpenID or another kind of
identification (like Google address or Wordpress name account). Hope
that's not too annoying... (>_<)
Please, leave lots of comments!
And feel free to write me. I'm looking forward your suggestions,
